Ich fotografiere und filme analog.

Das heißt: meine Kameras fangen das Bild, das Geschehen, das Objekt, das Licht ein und zeichnen es auf Fotopapier oder Film auf. Chemisch, physikalisch. Silbersalze reagieren mit Licht, färben sich schwarz durch Entwickler. Ein Bild entsteht.

Das ist analog.

Ich entwickel alle meine Fotos biologisch. Die Negative in Caffenol, einem Gemisch aus Kaffee, Vitamin C und Waschsoda. Die Positive in einer Suppe, die entweder aus der direkten Umgebung des abgefilmten Objekts stammt oder thematisch mit ihm verbunden ist: Der Ozean schwemmt Algen an, im Wald finde ich Pilze, Beeren und Baumrinde … aber den wohl nachhaltigsten Entwickler mische ich aus Essensresten! Orangen-, Bananen-, Kartoffelschalen, Tee, Brokkolistrünke, Apfelgriepsche, Kürbisreste, Möhrenkraut … all das enthält Phenole und kann entwickeln (zusammen mit Vitamin C und Waschsoda).

Das ist radikal.
Und garantiert KI-frei.

For the positives I use a soup that either comes from the direct surroundings of the filmed object or is thematically linked to it: the ocean washes up algae, I find mushrooms, berries and tree bark in the forest … but I mix the most sustainable developer from leftover food! Orange, banana, potato peel, tea, broccoli stalks, apple pulp, pumpkin residue, carrot tops ... all of these contain phenols and are capable to develop (together with vitamin c and washing soda).
